- Strawberries in June, local ones, oddly formed but deliciously sweet, brought by a friend
- the Instant Family feeling you get when your film crew gets back together for an afternoon
- bbq-ing, eating, laughing with friends old and new
- new friends who you can foodie-talk with
- "telepathic" understandings with people you haven't even known for that long
- losing your voice at the end of the evening and realising you're perfectly content to just listen because the people you're with are good and interesting company
